HOW TO DEVELOP A SPIRITUAL CONNECTION
19 May 21

How often do you think about the spiritual quotient of your life?
Do you even think that one is necessary? Would it be beneficial, or would it just soak up time and get in the way?
What value could this possibly bring to your life? Been there and done that? Not necessary?
WHY BOTHER?
In the chaotic, over noisy and stressful world we live in today, it can be really difficult to develop a spiritual connection. And, sometimes, the desire to connect spiritually with the world is sometimes viewed as a little ‘off beat’. Or...even dangerous.
I know this first hand as, for years and years, I struggled with developing a truly valid spiritual connection. A connection to God, or source, to the universe, whatever you like to call ‘it’.
CONNECTION TO A FORCE…
A power greater than myself. Because, really...I thought that I was too busy. Yes, that’s right, too busy to connect. Everything else in my day took priority. From working, to starting a business, to studying, to spending time with my loved ones.
I prioritised everything else in my life except spirituality. And, you know….I thought that I was ‘whole’. Busy and whole.
A PART OF MY LIFE WAS MISSING
Then, one day, in the ‘pause’ that I took whilst developing a new product for my business, I felt as though there was a part of my life, a piece of it that was missing.
And it was then, that I wanted to go deeper into spirituality and I knew that there were things waiting for me to unlock them. I felt that I had had a ‘prompt’ from the universe.
And, yet I felt overwhelmed. I felt stressed out by what I thought were new demands on me.
I CAN’T MEDITATE FOR THREE HOURS A DAY!
Where am I going to find the time to do that?
I want to share with you that starting or developing a spiritual connection is easy and it definitely doesn't take three hours a day! All you need is 5 - 10 minutes, each and every single day.
Maybe right when you wake up or just before you go to sleep, simply stop, close your eyes, feel your breath and be with yourself.
WHATEVER YOU LIKE…
You can use whatever modalities you prefer. You can pray, you can meditate, you can journal, you can count blessings and gratitude...anything that connects you closer to spirit, to source, to God, do that.
But, it starts with this first step, of actually creating the space. The space that allows you to be in that modality of peace and acceptance. The optimum space for spiritual connection.
CONNECTION IS A GIFT
The gift of this connection is a gift to yourself and to your mental and spiritual health.
Do you have the 5 - 10 minutes a day? Are you ready to integrate this simple step into your life? For your own good.
If you do, then I am here for you.
And remember...
You Absolutely Can Have it all
...and you can give back as well.
