The Wealthiest Place in the World?

What is the wealthiest place in the world? 

If you had to guess where the wealthiest place in the world was….what would you guess? When we think of wealth we tend to think of material wealth. So the wealthiest place in the world must be Dubai...right? Or maybe Singapore? The USA? China? Or maybe one of the scandinavian countries…? Surprisingly, there are more millionaires per head of population in Indonesia and India. So how do we measure wealth? Materially? Levels of health and well-being in a population? There are so many ways….and really, they are all good guesses...but they aren't correct.

You may be surprised to know…..

That the wealthiest place in the world is...the cemetery, the final resting place, the graveyard. The graveyard is the wealthiest place in the world because it is full of people that haven’t lived up to their true potential. People with riches galore….who never realised their visions, dreams or desires. They died with their dreams locked up inside of them.

They let the naysayers impact them…

They listened to people who told them not to shine so bright and you should be doing this in your life. “Forget about that, that’s crazy...you will fail”. And they were constantly impacted by people on the outside, instead of listening to their truth and saying YES to their dreams. 

Too many people just drift through their precious lives, they shut down the nagging voice inside them that says “Is that all there is?”  They go to school, they work really hard, they get good grades and get a ‘good’ job that provides that ‘good’ life and they continue down that path. They exist to earn some money and pay the bills...and then they die. With all of the dreams unfulfilled.

They forget why they are here in the first place.

Too many people spend too much time worrying about what other people think of them, or want from them. Too many people spend too much time literally living a life which is expected of them, instead of the life that they are really put on earth to live. We have to remember…

We only get one shot at this life…

It isn't a dress rehearsal, it’s the real thing. And, we can't waste our time, living into someone else’s expectations. It’s your life, not theirs. 

Buddah once said ‘Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, but instead, concentrate the mind in the present moment.’ 

I want you to be present with me. Look me in the eye, take a deep breath and say…

“My dreams are possible.”

That feels good? Right? Our dreams are possible. You are possible.  Have the courage to say “Yes” to your dreams..even when they feel wayyy toooo big, even when they feel scary, even when you feel like you don't know exactly how they’re going to happen. 

It’s up to you….

And only you that has the capacity to say “Yes” to the reasons that you’re put here, on this planet. When you say “Yes” to your potential, you say “Yes” to living your best life.

Don’t be one of those people who literally go to their grave with their dreams locked inside of them.
